Sud de la Bretagne I Floating Wind Farm

15 May 2024: The winner of AO5 has been publicly announced as the consortium between Baywa r.e. and Elicio. Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Roland Lescure, Minister delegate for Industry and Energy, and Hervé Berville, Secretary of State for the sea and Biodiversity, announced that Pennavel (A consortium of Elicio and BayWa re) as the winner of the call for tenders for the Sud de la Bretagne OWF. The 250 MW windfarm is the first commercial floating wind farm to be awarded a feed-in tariff. The French transport network manager RTE, will implement the connection of the offshore substation and transmission cables. Following the examination of all tender applications, the CRE (The French Energy Regulation Commission) selected the Pennavel consortium who had the winning offer amounting to EUR 86.45/MWh.
