Sud Atlantique Converter

Connection is to be pooled for the Sud Atlantique I&II projects. RTE is debating using 2x 320 kV HVDC cables (100-140 km) and two offshore platforms rated at 1 GW to connect both projects. Or 3 x 525 kV HVDC cables (80 km) and one shared platform rated at 2GW.
