Technical cooperation agreement for floating wind

SeaTwirl has entered into a cooperation agreement to help it improve its standing as a developer in floating wind power.

SeaTwirl state it is working according to plan towards the goal of launching a commercial sized turbine in 2020 and that by entering into a strategic partnership with Siemens, who will be focusing on the technical parts of the floating wind turbines.

Siemens views supporting SeaTwirl with our sustainable solutions as strategically important”, says Göran Persson, division head Digital Factory/Process Industries and Drives, Siemens AB.
