Internal input decides vessel name

Bibby Marine services has released the name of its new vessel that is expected for delivery mid-2019.

The vessel which is already in build, at Damen Galati in Romania, was given the name by Siemens and EnBW staff members. After some deliberation the chosen name was: Bibby WaveMaster Horizon.

The announcement of the vessel came after Bibby Marine Services signed a long term charter agreement with Siemens Gamesa. The agreement states that the vessel will be used at EnBW's offshore wind farms; Hohe See and Albratross.

The vessel will have direct input from Siemens Gamesa who, with their experience of operating SOV vessels, aim to improve upon the design of the sister vessel Bibby WaveMaster1.
