The Chouest Group has announced the acquisition of ROVOP, a prominent player in the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) industry. With this strategic move, Chouest, in conjunction with its subsea service subsidiary, C-Innovation, now commands a fleet comprising over 100 ROVs and six autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).

The incorporation of ROVOP into the Chouest family not only broadens Chouest’s service spectrum but also furnishes ROVOP with augmented resources. The company will draw on the support and capabilities of other Chouest entities such as vessel-based operations, Caltex Oil Tools, Bram Offshore, and C-Innovation, to better serve existing clientele and entice new business prospects with expanded service provisions.

Dino Chouest, expressing his enthusiasm, remarked, "ROVOP has carved a niche for itself in the ROV industry. This acquisition aligns seamlessly with our strategy to enrich our integrated subsea services. We extend a warm welcome to ROVOP's skilled team into our fold. Their proficiency and capabilities are pivotal as we diversify our portfolio and persist in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients."

This acquisition signifies a momentous stride in Chouest’s expansion endeavours and underscores its dedication to fortifying its technological prowess and service offerings worldwide. Chouest eagerly anticipates embarking on this collaborative journey with ROVOP, cementing its status as a frontrunner in the subsea services domain.

Neil Potter, CEO of ROVOP, expressed optimism about the integration, stating, "We eagerly anticipate amalgamating with the Chouest family and harnessing their global resources to fortify our capabilities and extend our outreach. This presents an exceptional opportunity for growth, innovation, and delivering heightened value to our clients."

The assimilation of ROVOP into Chouest’s operations will commence forthwith, with complete integration anticipated to bolster service delivery and operational efficacy across all involved entities.
