Cadeler launches first M-Class wind installation vessel, Wind Maker

On Monday, June 3, 2024, Cadeler proudly announced the successful launch of its first M-class newbuild, the Wind Maker, from the Hanwha Ocean Ship Yard.

This state-of-the-art wind installation vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2025, after which it will head directly to its inaugural project at the Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farm.

Cadeler emphasises the importance of this milestone not only for its commercial viability but also for advancing the capabilities of offshore wind energy. The company expressed gratitude to its team, partners, and investors for their remarkable efforts in achieving this launch.

The next steps for the Wind Maker include commissioning, testing, and sea trials, ensuring it is fully prepared to meet the demands of the fast-growing and dynamic offshore wind market.
