4C Offshore's insight to cable demand

4C Offshore today released its 2019 Subsea Cable Forecast, a report that focuses on providing a market analysis of the cable supply and installation demand for the next 10 years.

The report of future cable requirements are broken down into categories such as: country, region, voltage, AC or DC, and usage (e.g. array, export, domestic or international interconnection). It was done in this way with the intention of providing an ease of access to the customer.

Tugce Sahin, 4C Offshore's product champion said, "This report was made with the thought of saving our subscribers time and making their job easier, and we have succeeded in doing so with our latest Subsea Cable report."

"A section on market shares gives you easy reference breakdowns of the market leaders and their recent projects for cable manufacture and installation. For the first time, we have provided the track record of Chinese offshore wind cable manufacturers and installers and EPCI interconnector contractors." She continued.

This report arrives in the same month (July 2019) as 4C Offshore's Floating Wind Special Report, titled Floating Wind: Changing Gear. This report provides a detailed analysis of the global floating wind market, an outlook of growth to 2030 and an in-depth review of the various floating designs and their current development plans.

This report has appeared to have been a hit in the industry with one industry manufacturer saying, "Saved me a lot of time and research."

While a cable developer and manufacturer described the report as "Great stuff."
